I used to think I’ll be a rock star, I used to think I’ll be the owner of a record store
but now I see the time passing by and I don’t know if I’m going to make it.
All those films made me feel alive and all those covers that my first band played
and all those people that played with me and now I’m alone on a saturday night
watching Empire Records and crying out loud.
So come with me and then we’ll see we had dreams on a bar here we are everyday drinking and thinking about what we had done with those songs.
Come on, I’m no longer what you saw, got a few records that’s all,
trust me we are done and I feel the weight of time.
